“Absolute brilliant venue, nice and peaceful and each peg is spaced out so you have plenty of room. All pegs are hard standing so your not in the mud during the wetter months. The lake and surroundings are well maintained with a toilet on site. Owners are really friendly and offer advice if needed or just stopping for a chat. Great place 5*****”

“After a childhood of fishing, I've returned to the sport some 30 years later. This lake is perfect. Plenty of fish of all sizes. Nicely maintained swims. This late is deep from the edge onwards. Floaters need a 2m depth line.”

“Watmore is a clean&tidy, well-run mixed fishery. Unlike many modern commercials Watmore's lake is deep which presents challenges and opportunities 🙂 Well worth a visit.”

“Nice lake, good parking and the person collecting money was very nice. Unfortunately it was a bad weather day today, especially as we were doing a silver fish only match, I caught lots of carp and very little silvers. Apparently it was fishing well last week, just one of those things. Will definately go there again.”

“My son has just started his life as a fisherman and I've started him off here on the recommendation of the local tackle shop. It's a quiet, well kept place to fish with friendly owners (don't know what else makes a good fishing spot to be honest). We've seen some decent sized fish come out of the water too. Unfortunately, not on my sons line!”

“Amazing lake to fish one of the best in the area. all types and sizes of fish from big to small. well maintained and respected by the people that attend. friendly owners who are happy to chat and give tips if you new. never had any issue here as all guest are just as friendly as owners. beautiful setting when the sun is out. all I can say is get down here to see what I mean.”
